Mike is an operations and finance leader with experience helping young companies deliver a high level of execution at scale. He joins BAI Biosciences from Perch, a Boston-based unicorn eCommerce startup backed by Softbank. Mike joined Perch shortly after Perch's seed round and worked in a variety of strategic roles, leading teams which integrated $100M+ of Perch acquisitions, oversaw the turnaround of Perch's international business into Perch's fastest growing BU, and designed and deployed Perch's proprietary "Blue Jay" brand management system and tools. Prior to Perch, Mike oversaw upstream supply chain operations at Rugs USA, a private equity-backed eCommerce retailer based in New York City. At Rugs USA, Mike oversaw a monthly purchasing process which spent $90M annually, overhauled the monthly forecast-to-order process, and led supplier negotiations. Mike also spent time as a Consultant at the Boston Consulting Group and as a Private Equity Associate at Charlesbank Capital Partners. He graduated from Yale with a B.A. in Cognitive Science, awarded with distinction.

Mike enjoys exercise, the outdoors, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers. He comes from a family of entrepreneurs and is passionate about building teams that are scrappy, smart, and sustainable. He currently resides in Newton, MA with his wife, Jess, his daughter, Zoey, and their dog, Howie.
